Andrey Popov

"Place marketing in Russia: from empirical studies to theoretical endowments" will be the titel of Andrey's planned publication for the 50th Ersa congress (27 August 2010) in Sweden, together with D. Vizgalov.

Since November 2009 Andrey is deeper involved in cultural mapping and cultural planning studies, especially his interest is connected with the investigation of the relationships between CM/CP, PM/PB with the whole theme of sustainable community development issues.

He is working on the outline of the project  "Development of Place marketing and cultural planning municipal initiatives" which he aims to execute in the Perm region with assistance of the Perm Ministry of Culture, Youth Policy and Mass Communication.
