The members of the Association for Place Branding & Public Diplomacy are organised in working groups that are concerned with the different areas of place branding and public diplomacy. This makes the working groups the core of the Association's academic work. The contact person for the working groups is Meike Eitel.
Creating synergies, getting big things going, organising conferences, bringing together bright heads, ideas and projects: for a small association, all this is a great challenge. The working group "Fundraising & Co-Operation" works in a network of politics, academia and business and aims at broadening this network and bringing together members of the association and external stakeholders.
The working group for public relations is responsible for the Association's internal and external communication activities. Among other things, the working group takes care of the Association's website, our newsletter and the other communication activities, for example during our conferences and events.
Associates who do research in the field of place branding and public diplomacy, who are teaching or who want to learn more about these issues can join this working group to help forming the academic background of the Association. The working group is also especially designed for students and PhD students who can join the group to present their studies, to discuss new methods and to exchange information on universities, departments and new reseach clusters.
